Art Niche Murals and Art
|
Tile Art Niche Mural. If you have art niches built into a few places in your home architecture, you should take advantage of this by having an art niche mural painted in that space. This one in particular, was fun to do. I took plaster and made a raised design of a tile look and then painted a nice vase and flowers on top. The
design layout of tiles was first taped off with 1/8” architecture tape and then the plaster was applied. As it starts to set up for about half and hour, I then pull the tape off the wall and what is left is the impression of tile lines. This looks fantastic and resembles tumbled marble when dried, smoothed and varnished.

Asian Style Art Niche Mural
|
This art niche mural was a large area in a hallway and the woman I painted for, Susan, wanted some Asian style birds to brighten up this area and to be complementary to her other décor around the house. I also painted two little hints of grass on the bottom part of the wall to bring it
all together. |

This Cape Coral, Florida mural was done of birds of paradise along with a large peacock. Peacock murals are very desirable for anyone who wants classic artwork. Art niche murals show a different dimension in a room.
