Blue Hyacinth Macaw ceiling mural (12’ x 7’)
This is painted on the ceiling just above a dining room table made of black and blue sparkled granite. This is composed of two macaws, bowls of fruit, a lovely table with a beautiful draped table cloth and two large vases on each side. It is highlighted with gold and silver leafing to add accents and makes any meal under this ceiling mural enjoyable, in Naples,
Florida. |

Even though this is a very little ceiling mural measuring about 5 feet across, it is quite striking. I painted a robin’s egg blue sky, with clouds going all around and to finish it off, I made my own card board stencil of a dolphin and then did those dolphins in a repetitive pattern all around in real silver leafing. This
is a very nice one just above a reading area niche in master bedroom in Naples, Florida.

As an entryway, this ceiling mural is done in gold metallic paints, finished off with placing silver leafing as highlights on the tiki plants that surround the perimeter of the dome. A ceiling mural of this type is very desirable for most classic homes. I have created ceiling murals similar to this one many times over in the past
6 years after I finished this one in Naples, Florida. |

A Fort Myers, Florida, bird art mural, of a Great White Heron was done on canvas, in my studio, framed and placed as a ceiling mural. This is painted, using gold, metallic paint as the background along with gold and silver leafing. I then chose stark whites for the feathers of the bird along with grey tones to finish
off a very dramatic scene. Great white herons make elegant subjects for any painting of birds. This is one of the most beautiful ceiling murals I have ever painted. |
Open sky ceiling mural (14’ x 12’)
|
This ceiling mural is just so much fun. It is also painted in a master bedroom of a lovely home in Cape Coral, Florida. The choice to paint several openings in this ceiling to be able to have the effect of looking out onto a great blue sky, was a good one. I have painted others with just one opening and this is much more believable
as an open sky. I just love it. |
