Dolphin Murals and Art

Dolphin View of the World (10 ft. by 7 ft.)
This dolphin mural painting is part of a much larger mural. The Dolphin turned out so fantastic and realistic. It is a work of art in itself. I chose this type of pose for him. I could of painted a typical dolphin swimming by, as a profile style, but this is much more intriguing
of a stare. No matter where you stand in the room he seems to follow you and you can ‘feel’ the water he is suspended in for sure! This is the best dolphin I have ever had the pleasure to paint. |

Jumping Dolphin Mural (14 ft. by 10 ft.)

Dolphin murals show some ones child like side. These playful creatures in a mural are so fun, it is hard not to smile when you see one. This great dolphin mural was painted in the subdivision, Mediterra, in Naples, Florida on a master bedroom ceiling and is the first thing they see in the morning when they awake and the last thing they
see upon going to sleep at night. The water has silver leafing highlights and the beach has gold leafing dispersed upon the sand. It makes the dolphin mural just pop, and makes you really notice the water splashing from the dolphins. |
My Daughter, Mindell, Training Bob &Toby the Dolphins at the Living Seas Park in
Orlando 2001.(She is on the far right)
|
I love the dolphins in the Gulf of Mexico and have seen them in the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans from California to Hawaii. Mindell, used to train two dolphins in captivity at Epcot in Orlando for a summer college internship. She could not leave the program until she taught the two of them a new trick. Well……..she
taught Bob and Toby the dolphins to paint! She introduced them to the brushes, then the paper and canvas and then to the paint. By the time she was done with their training, she was allowed
to keep four canvases that they painted. I am honored that I influenced her enough that she chose her dolphin teachings to be artwork. She gave me one of Toby the dolphins paintings
and I cherish it tremendously to this day. |
