Black Tip Reef Shark Fish Mural (18 ft. by 12 ft.)
Fish murals are just what many want, here in Florida and all over the world. Who doesn’t want to bring some of that under water mystery into their view? This fish mural is so simple, yet calming to look at. It has dolphins, a loggerhead turtle, a spotted eagle ray
and a black tip reef shark. The choice of the color of the water to have the fish swimming in, is a factor. I chose the most vivid blue to paint the fish and marine mammals in, just like you would view them in the ocean or Gulf of Mexico. This fish mural is painted in a living room of a home in Cape Coral, Florida, for a very nice couple who have the right attitude for tropical
living. This is a smaller version of a larger commercial piece I did in Punta Gorda, Florida at the new Charlotte Harbor Event and Conference Center. That one you can see if you click on my underwater murals tab. |
Tarpon Fish Mural (10 ft. by 7 ft.)
|
This fish mural has very detailed Tarpon swimming past an underwater branch In a school. I used silver leafing to paint out the scales and they glow in the light when you walk past. This was quite a fun project. I don’t always get to paint fish, but was glad when this one came along.

Close Up of a Snook in a Fish Mural (3 ft. by 2 ft.)
|
What a fantastic pose of this fish! It is quite detailed, shows the scaling on the sides and that great blue/black/green hues of the different hues of its scales. |
Spotted Eagle Ray Fish Mural (12 ft x 8 ft.)
|
This spotted eagle ray fish mural is very realistic looking. The eagle ray is painted in so much detail, you can see the spots have very different, varied shapes and sizes. The snook in the photo above is also in here. I wanted to show the relevance of how these fish look together in the bigger fish mural. |
