Garden Murals and Art

Formal Garden Mural (12 ft x 8 ft.)
The garden mural shown above with the small fountain in the middle has a story to itself. My clients Bob and Sally, wanted me to paint several murals in their penthouse
condo while they were out of town and Bob gave me final instructions before he left. He said he wanted this garden, courtyard mural painted with a nude female fountain that was in the middle of the
mural. He winked and I proceeded to spend the next month painting in their condo for them. Upon returning from Tennessee, he and Sally walked into the dining room where I painted the garden
mural for them and as I understand it, Sally was shocked to see the statue and kind of called Bob out for how it got there. The next morning when Bob called me, he said, “San, I love all the
murals you created for us but did not really mean it when I said I wanted a nude statue in the garden mural. Sally was upset at first but now, we like it so much, that we wouldn’t change it
for the world. It is our greatest conversation piece in the house.” So
be careful what you ask me for, I just might take you literally. Bob and Sally oen H R H Dumplin's Restaurant in Franklin, TN. |

Garden murals can be formal or impressionistic. The colors chosen can show a great splash of different hues or you can choose a specific color palette to match your décor. Garden murals with paths and fountains are interesting. Archways with or without vines can add an architectural aspect along with form. This garden
mural is above a bathtub in the master bath of a home in Naples, Florida. What a better way to enjoy a soak in a tub with this to gaze at. |
Peaceful Water Way, Willow Garden Mural (10 ft. by 4 ft.)

My client wanted this lovely mural painted on her ceiling leading into her master bedroom. She chose a red swing to reflect in the water looking so inviting for someone to just come and swing across the pale green lake along with a little boat tied up to the concrete dock ready for a rowing out on a sunny afternoon. |

There is nothing like hiking anywhere in North America and experiencing the many wild and cultivated flower gardens. From mother nature to the cultivated, manicured gardens in Vancouver, BC, I love every minute of being able to have the luxury to be free to travel when I can. When hiking, it is such a pleasure to
come around a corner and discover little groupings that were just made for our souls. |
