Kitchen Murals and Art

Washing clothes at the river (10' x 5')
This mural is in a laundry room, just off the kitchen of a beautiful penthouse condo in Cape Coral, Florida. My client, Mary, found my website and asked if I could please help her to enjoy washing her clothes for she did not like her laundry area. She talked to me about what she wanted and I painted this design that is so spectacular, she wishes to this day I
would of completed it in her living room instead! The metallic paints used for the pots, just glow in that room and pick up the reflected light from the rest of the house. She now leaves her laundry room door open to view from her kitchen!

Jerry’s Sunset Kitchen Mural (2’ x 10’)
|
This kitchen mural is painted in a condo in Bonita Beach, Florida. Jerry wanted to enjoy Florida as much as he could when he visited the area. This little panoramic scene gave him the look he wanted to see just from his living room. The large royal palm tree off to the side, balances out the wall and gives it a nice tropical feel. I used
his overhead light to resemble the sun as it was shining on the beach when you turned it on. He loves the way I incorporated that in.

Under the Counter Kitchen Mural (18’ x 4’)
|
This scene is of a cormorant bird sitting on a post in the water and then some ibis in the water and a great blue heron off to the other side. Sometimes you have a space that is just calling for a mural and this one in the kitchen really makes an otherwise dull backdrop turn into a beautiful painting. Wendy, my client in Naples, Florida, found me on a Craigslist ad I had on line. It
really does work! |
Kitchen Mural for the ceiling (6’ x 10’)
|
When you have such a beautiful tray ceiling just above the center of your kitchen, you should always have a mural painted there. This scene in a Naples, Florida kitchen makes it come alive. I looked around the room before we designed this one and I noticed a line of tile just above the window of grapes and cherries. I
then made the ceiling in this kitchen have a pattern of grasses all around, with little pale shrimp colored flowers and a vine of grapes and cherries going around the inside circle. It makes you notice the little bit of tile more and is very dramatic. |
