Religious Murals and Art

Religious Art Mural (4’ X 3’)
This painted religious art mural was commissioned from a Lutheran Church in Naples, Florida. Their style of artwork has very simple and classic lines. They wanted a painting depicting the birth of Jesus, with just his little head showing out of the manger, then a panel of the ascending dove and Jesus’ baptism, the third scene is showing the crucifixion with
the three crosses in the back ground on a hill and the last panel shows the resurrection of Jesus with only seeing his robe draped on the rock slab he was on and the jagged rock opening of the cave he just emerged from.

Cliff Angel Religious Art Mural (5’ x 4’)
|
I really like this painting. The angel is standing on the edge of a cliff looking out over a tropical blue ocean and a little angel is standing down on the beach. It is very striking to see this one in person. Her brown hair just flows over her wings as she is looking high up to the sky, you can see her face from a different perspective. It’s
a great piece of religious art.

Religious Old Adobe Mission
|
The little adobe mission pictured here is in a Pueblo in Picuris,
New Mexico. I visited this in 2005 with a friend who wanted to see it after helping cut, fashion and finish off some of the wooden vigas that are used for support in the ceiling of this beautiful place of worship almost 20 years ago with a group of college
students. It sits
on a protected Indian Pueblo with a population of a little over 100. This pueblo has been here in the same location since about 750 AD. The Pueblo people are from the Tiwa ethnic group of native Americans who speak the Picuris language. The Picuris pueblo is a member of the Eight Northern Pueblos. The little murals inside these different Pueblos are divine.
