Room Faux

Plum Room Faux
One of my favorite types of room faux. This one was done in a first layer of dark plum and then the second layer has gold metallic hand paint hand rubbed on top of the plum. It is a spectacular finish that is very memorable. |
Tan Room Faux and A Tuscany Arch Scene
|
The little scene is painted on top of the faux finish I did in this entire house. It is of Mississippi mud paint colors on top of the orange peel knock down walls that are so common here in Florida. |
Plaster Doorway Room Faux
|
It is so much fun to play around with different plasters. This is done in Dr. Mel's home who is a Chiropractor in Southwest Florida. She wanted an Italian theme in her home along with some murals I did to bring it all together. The walls were fauxed with a light, warm cream color and then the plaster design was made by
hand by myself. I
used various tools from the kitchen for this. I used a vegetable serrated cutter for the edges and a high ball glass and a shot glass to imprint the circle designs. This was inventive and a lot of fun! |

Marble Faux in an Art Niche
|
To enhance this antique, priceless tile for my client, I painted a golden marble background. It now shows off the prized possession of the family in a new light.
Another excellent source for Faux painting is Ron's Painting. |
