Spoonbill Art Murals
|
This Sanibel Island Roseate Spoonbill painting, mural turned out so good, that I could not believe I painted it on rough stucco. To paint the Spoonbills in different poses, makes it believable that you are looking at the waters by the Ding
Darling National Wildlife Refuge on Sanibel Island, Florida. If you are in the area, the Ding Darling Wildlife Refuge is a site to see. I have also painted a night heron, just getting ready to eat a mangrove crab sitting just beneath him on a branch and some white ibis eating things under the water. All
these birds can be seen at the Ding Darling center. Drive around, get out of your car, take a walk around to see some things you cannot see in highly populated areas. It is a treat I am sure you will enjoy. |
