Turtle Murals and Art
|
These types of murals are fun to paint. I especially love the Loggerhead turtle. I have gone on turtle patrol with my daughter, Mindell on the beaches here in Fort Myers, Florida, early in the morning at the crack of dawn to look for new nests. It is fun when you find a new ‘crawl’ and get to mark and tag a nest. There
are many people who volunteer their time to protect turtles on the beaches across the US. One of personal interest of mine has a website of http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turtle/ and if you get a chance, check out their website and learn some new things about turtles. |
‘CC’ the Turtle Mural (18 ft. by 16 ft.)
|
This is a mural drawing of a turtle coming out of the water in huge form. It will have drops of water coming down off of its flippers and the rest of his body. This is a conceptual drawing of a future piece to come.

Turtle photos I shot in Hawaii
|
These sea turtles were everywhere in Hawaii. We got to see and swim with them up close, when we went snorkeling and saw them on all the rocky shores on the Big Island and in Oahu. I especially noticed the amount of algae that was growing on their shells and their bodies. They ate things from the bottom of the shore and seemed to not
mind if we were standing right above them taking photos. What peaceful creatures. |
