Tuscan Murals and Art

Red Orchid at Tuscan Art Mural Sunset (8’ x 10’)
This outdoor Tuscan mural looks so beautiful next to the pool area at this home in Naples, Florida. I had perfect weather to paint this one and some of the neighbors kept stopping by to see what I was doing and loved watching the process. I think the sky is so colorful and the greens in the wine vineyards are a great contrast. I painted the brick pavers onto the wall to give the
trompe l’ oeil effect of looking like you could walk right into the scene. Tuscan murals are relaxing to look at.

Tuscan Art Mural path to the Village (5’ x 3’)
|
This was painted in a master bath to bring the feel of Tuscan Italy into the room. I like the path going somewhere, but you cannot see where it leads. That I leave up to your imagination. My client had a granite sink countertop just on the other side of this mural and I painted the ledge of this to look just like it. This
is in a Cape Coral Penthouse Condo on the Caloosahatchee River.

Tuscan Art Mural Formal Walking Garden Scene (12’ x 8’)
|
I first painted a lovely, sunset sky in the tray ceiling above and continued onto the three section trompe l’ oeil scene that I painted the same tile as on the floor up onto the wall in the right perspective. The real columns you see in the foreground of this Tuscan mural were painted with a metallic faux and the columns in the mural on the wall had
the same paint used on their columns. It is in a fantastic dining room in a Penthouse Condo in Naples, Florida.

Fattoria Casaloste winery in Panzano Italy
|
This is the home of the winery that we stayed at in Italy just outside of Florence. It was a very old building with three apartments in one part and the family that ran the winery, lived next door. It is over 400 years old and our front door was a foot thick, made of some ancient wood……there was no telephone or television but
I loved it that way. The stone and dirt driveway leading to this farm, was so full of potholes that we prayed each day it would be a successful one , out and back again home each night. Tuscany is a beautiful, dreamy area. |
